UPDATE:

VistaVG RTM Released: [link]

A few days back, I released my first Visual Style for windows XP VistaVG v1.0: [link]

And I received a good response from ppl and they liked it. But many ppl faced a problem of menu cut-off in Start Menu bcoz of the theme was created for 48x icon size, I'm releasing a version of my VistaVG VS for 32x icon size :)

HOW TO USE:

1.) Extract the contents and u'll get a folder named VistaVG.
2.) Copy this folder to %windir%\Resources\Themes\ and u'll get this theme in Appearance tab of Desktop Properties.
3.) Otherwise u can directly double-click on the VistaVG.msstyles file in VistaVG folder.
4.) Also make sure u hv patched the uxtheme.dll file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if u hv not then d/l and run Neowin UXtheme Patcher from here. [link]

Don't release/distribute modified versions of my theme without my permission!!!

Thanks for releasing a version for 32px users. Actually, I'm a 48px user, but it's good to see that you care for requests :D.

Btw: With which tool, hack etc. have you disabled the menu in Windows Explorer? Thanks in advance!

For hiding the Menubar, I edited the registry!

If u want to do it, then just copy/paste following code in Notepad and save it with .REG extension, and run the file:

actually I got that utility many months before from a site (can't remember the name), but I hv uploaded the file here [link] . So just d/l the file, extract it and then run the EXE file and voilla, u can see the status bar. Actually this utility contains some icons and it detects the size of the drive and then sets appropriate icon for it in the registry! ;)
