"Host Mechanic" is another freeware released by AskVG.com which helps you in editing, deleting or restoring default "Hosts" file [link] in Windows OS. This freeware has been created by AskVG reader "Hackerpunk1".

It can be used in Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 Developer Preview.

This utility is portable and you don't need to install it.
