Windows 7 users miss the good old
Wordpad which was a basic notepad application but some advanced and easy to use functions.
If you also don't like new Wordpad with ribbon interface, simply download the attached ZIP file and follow the simple instructions given in following tutorial which will help you in getting back the good old classic XP styled Wordpad in Windows 7:
How to Get the Good Old Wordpad (without Ribbons) Working in Windows 7?
I can't read it though, unfortunately it comes up in Japanese on my computer (that's just a problem on my end).
Any idea what's wrong with it though?
My friend has a laptop running Windows vista, a laptop I sometimes use for doing homework and essays. I don't wanna install Office, as wordpad does the job.
Is the any way to get the windows 7 version of notepad onto Windows vista? (the vista one is in my opinion horrible)
Thanks in advance
